Miranda Lambert had high hopes that her doctor-ordered vocal rest
— which caused her to reschedule a few concerts last week — would be
brief, but unfortunately, the singer has been forced to cancel three
concerts in Alabama and Georgia that were scheduled for this coming
weekend.
While it doesn’t make the news any less disappointing, fans will
still be able to see Lambert this year, as she has booked makeup dates
for those canceled concerts this October.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint the fans that have already bought tickets
to see me,” the ‘Over You’ songstress wrote in a statement on Tuesday
afternoon. “I’m taking care of my voice, and I can’t wait to get on the
road again and bring you a hell of a show.”
Stay tuned to Taste of Country for the latest developments in
Lambert’s heath situation, including when she will be back out on the
road and any other dates she will be rescheduling in the meantime.
